Brad Prochaska founded the firm in 1986. The firm now boasts 20 years of service representing injured people. Due to its many successes, the firm has grown to 4 lawyers. The firm's clients include people of all ages and walks of life who have been injured from semi-tractor trailer collisions, motorcycle accidents, train wrecks, medical malpractice, car accidents, defective products,or in other ways. The firm has taken cases from Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Missouri, and will take cases in other States as well.
All client interviews and case evaluations are free. The firm charges the client a fee only after it recovers money for the client. This is know as a "contingent fee," meaning the attorney's fee is contingent upon the attorney recovering enough money for the client that the client now has the money to pay his or her attorney.
Mr. Prochaska has obtained the largest verdict in a semi tractor trailer case in Kansas Federal Court, the largest verdict in Kansas for a car wreck case, the largest verdict in a motorcycle case in Wichita, and the largest verdict in a medical malpractice case in Kansas State Court. His firm also obtained the largest worker's compensation settlement in Kansas.
Many of his cases have been reported on the TV news and in the newspaper, some of which are posted on this website. As pictured below, Mr. Prochaska was awarded the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Consumer Advocate Award in 2001 for his success in cases pursued on behalf of consumers who were injured. He was honored with the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association Distinguished Service Award for his success in helping injured people while bringing respect to the legal profession.

The firm is referred cases by attorneys from Kansas and other states who feel they do not have the experience, expertise, or wherewithal to handle the case. The firm has established a reputation for getting successful results on difficult cases that other lawyers have already rejected as being too hard to win.
In 1974, Mr. Prochaska received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, and his law degree from Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas. Mr. Prochaska was admitted to practice law in Kansas State Court and Federal Court in 1980. He has been certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Advocacy. He is a member of the KTLA executive committee, board of Governors, and is an Eagles donor member (the highest level) of KTLA, which demonstrates his commitment to furthering the rights of injured people. Mr. Prochaska is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Birth Trauma Litigation Group. He is a frequent speaker at seminars and a frequent writer for attorney publications.
Mr. Prochaska was recently honored by the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association with a 2001 award for the Consumer Advocate in recognition of his advocacy on behalf of Kansas Consumers. Mr. Prochaska also received the KTLA's Distinguished Service Award in 2004, recognizing him as a distinguished member of the association who brings credit and respect to the legal profession, and for demonstrating his dedication to his clients and the civil justice system.
